One of the prime and massive religious meetings in the world - the Kumbh Mela - will be this time scattered an area of 45 km from the prior 20 km range.

How is Prayagraj gearing up for Kumbh Mela 2019?

For Kumbh Mela, a new provisional city has been built along Prayagraj, which has 250-km long thoroughfares and 22 platform bridges. As per to news agency ANI, this is the major provisional city in the world.

Over 40,000 LED bulbs have been mounted to illuminate the Kumbh Mela, which has previously been comprised by UNESCO in the list of 'Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.'

For the first time, an Integrated Control Command and Centre has been set-up in the Kumbh area. The organization will enable governing and keeping safe the traffic movement and the throng visiting mela.

There will be two Control and Command Centres under a system of around Rs 247 crore in Prayagraj. Of these, one Control and Command Centre price Rs 116 crore has been done and made serviceable.

Kumbh Mela will witness the use of artificial intelligence for dealing with superior crowd supervision for the first time this year.

"More than 1,000 CCTV cameras will be equipped to track several movements all over the Mela area spread across 3,200 hectares," told UP Additional Chief Secretary Awanish Awasthi.

Artificial Intelligence will be installed by the Integrated Command and Control Centre of the forces in which the security workers can view or watch the graphics of crowd movement and evaluate the crowd size. All at once, they can also track anything which is doubtful.

Moreover to the introduction of salvage operations, UP police have developed court bikes for fast movement on the sand of the Sangam zone. These state-of-the-art yard bikes have extensive tires and a powerful engine, which makes it easier and faster to shift quickly on the sand throughout emergencies.

Facilities for people for Kumbh Mela 2019

1.    As per to UP government bureaucrats, it is for the first time that followers will be reaching in the city via land, air, and watercourses. The Indian Railways will run 800 special trains to Prayagraj. Air India has also started new flights to the Kumbh Mela.

2.    Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) has declared the introduction of a helicopter service that is 'joyride' for an excursion of Kumbh 2019. This helicopter service will commence from January 17 and would remain till February.

3.    10 stalls allowing the pilgrims with virtual reality (VR) experience have been found at the major sites in the Kumbh Mela area. At these stands, tourists and pilgrims can watch the Kumbh 2019 videos and experience well.

4.    An SMS campaign has been introduced by the Prayagraj Mela Authority for the accessibility of pilgrims who are visiting for Kumbh 2019. Over 10 crore SMS will be referred to people in three breakers, giving information on different phases and amenities available for Kumbh 2019.

5.     Almost 4000 hotspots are being equipped across the mela area for offering high-speed Wi-Fi for all pilgrims and tourists.
